Roxanne Assoulin’s jewelry is known for its bright, stackable designs, beloved by pop culture icons. The challenge was to enhance the online shopping experience by creating a custom bracelet configurator, allowing users to personalize their pieces with color and bead options. The goal was to mirror the hands-on, creative in-store experience while boosting engagement and AOV, especially with the growing demand for personalized products.
The configurator was designed to offer both guided templates and a blank canvas for users to create their own designs. Pricing tiers and customizable options, such as bead sizes, colors, and symbols, were clearly communicated. The mobile experience utilized bidirectional scrolling for an intuitive, app-like interface. A digital style guide ensured consistency with the brand’s visual identity across all touchpoints.
The project resulted in a +10.5% increase in AOV. Moments of delight, like confetti animations when users completed their bracelet, reflected the brand’s playful personality. The project successfully combined UX/UI Design, Custom Interactive Experience, and Design System to create a fun, engaging, and brand-aligned experience for Roxanne Assoulin’s online customers.
