Revelry specializes in inclusive bridesmaid dresses and formalwear, offering a seamless online experience for bridal parties to coordinate outfits with flexibility in styles, fabrics, and colors. Known for its home try-on program, Revelry allows customers to try samples before making a purchase. The challenge was to migrate their platform from BigCommerce to Shopify Plus while simplifying the dress selection and ordering process, ensuring an intuitive and frictionless experience.
The redesign focused on streamlining the complex bridesmaid dress purchasing process, which involves multiple variables such as fit, style, size, color, and fabric. The product detail page (PDP) was revamped to feature striking photography alongside a dynamic action pane that simplified the selection and ordering process. This approach reduced friction by organically guiding customers through their choices, blending made-to-order and ready-to-ship options seamlessly.
The new design incorporated user-generated content and detailed educational tools to empower customers to make informed decisions. With the integration of social modules, testimonials, and helpful content, the brand’s online experience resonated with its audience. As a result, Revelry saw an increase of +13% revenue and +6% conversion rate. The project successfully merged UX/UI Design, Interaction, and Redesign to simplify the bridesmaid dress shopping experience.
